“Solved my export issues instantly — works perfectly.” – Reddit user

🔒 Safe · Private · Never logs in to Instagram · Files stay on your device.

Want to see who unfollows later? That requires a Snapshot (saved after you unlock results). More below.

Can I track unfollowers?

Yes — and without risky logins. Instagram doesn’t announce unfollows in real time, so the only accurate method is to compare two official exports. Here’s the flow:

  1. Upload your export (ZIP/JSON) above to scan and preview your results — your first 10 non-followers are free.
  2. Save a Snapshot (free) — one tap saves today’s follower list to your device. That file becomes your personal baseline. What is a Snapshot?
  3. Organize as you go — move accounts to Ignored, Watchlist, or Deactivated to reduce noise. Your lists help you focus on what matters next time.
  4. Come back later — upload a fresh export and Load Snapshot to reveal who unfollowed since that date and unlock full lists (just $3 via Stripe).

Already have a Snapshot? Jump straight to the Unfollower Tracker.

Heads-up: Unfollowers are inferred by comparing two dates. A few outliers can appear if someone renamed their @handle or deactivated temporarily. We use timestamps and smart matching to catch most renames, but no tool can be 100% perfect.
Privacy-first. We never ask for your Instagram password. Your export is analyzed in-memory and then discarded. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your card details.

Not sure how to export your Instagram data?

Follow these steps to create the export file you’ll upload here:

  1. Open the Instagram app and go to Settings & privacy.
  2. Tap Accounts CenterYour information and permissionsExport your information.
  3. Select Create exportExport to device.
  4. On the Confirm your export page:
    • Under Connections, ✓ check only Followers and Following.
    • Deselect everything else (Personal info, Ads, Security, Preferences, etc.).
  5. Submit the export. Instagram will prepare your file and email you a download link.

⚠ By default, Instagram preselects nearly everything. You only need Followers and Following.

  • Cut the noise: Use lists to keep things tidy: Ignored (hide accounts you’re done reviewing), Watchlist (keep an eye on specific users), Deactivated (separate gone/paused accounts).
  • See the truth fast: Instantly spot who doesn’t follow you back, real supporters, and low-value follows. Filter by relationship or tags in one tap.
  • Track unfollowers the right way: Next time you visit, upload a fresh export and load your Snapshot to reveal exactly who dropped you — no guessing.
  • Stay intentional: Clean up your following and keep your feed focused on people who actually follow and support you.

Finally, a safe and straightforward way to understand your Instagram relationships. No passwords, no gimmicks — just your data, clearly compared and neatly organized.
