Instagram follower tool
Check who doesn't follow you back on Instagram
A single Instagram export can answer a current-state question: which accounts do you follow that are not in your current followers list? Don't Follow Back performs that comparison without an Instagram login, password, extension, or ongoing connection.
- No Instagram login
- Official export data
- Current relationship check
- JSON or ZIP
Supported scope
What this page is designed to help with
Current non-followers
Accounts in Following that are not in Followers, excluding supported pending-request states.
Mutual relationships
Accounts present in both lists, separating mutual connections from one-sided follows.
Other relationship lists
Pending requests, blocked or restricted accounts, favorites, and close friends when those files are present.
Export-based evidence
Results from records in your download, not scraping, background monitoring, or guesses.
What it answers
Non-followers are not automatically recent unfollowers
If an account appears in Following but not Followers, the export supports one conclusion: that account does not currently follow you back. It does not reveal when that state began.
The person may never have followed you, may have stopped at an unknown time, may have renamed the account, or may be temporarily unavailable. The report keeps the label tied to what the export proves.
How it works
Three steps, with no account connection
Request your information from Instagram, choose JSON, and include Followers and Following. Download the ZIP from Instagram when it is ready, then upload that file here.
The importer identifies supported relationship files, normalizes the account records, and compares the lists. Save a Snapshot if you want a baseline for a future change comparison.
- You do not type your Instagram username or password into this site.
- The site does not sign in to Instagram or monitor your account.
- HTML exports are not supported; request JSON for reliable parsing.
Accuracy
What can change the result
The report can only use files that exist in the export. A partial download, HTML format, missing Followers file, or export still being prepared can produce an incomplete result.
Account renames, deactivations, and export timing can also explain apparent mismatches. Check export-health messages before treating a row as a change in behavior.
Questions
Common questions
Can one export show who does not follow me back?
Yes. Comparing current Followers and Following identifies accounts you follow that are not current followers.
Can one export prove who recently unfollowed me?
Not from current Followers and Following alone. You need an earlier Snapshot, a second export, or an explicit recent-unfollow history file when one is included.
Do I need to give you my Instagram password?
No. You download your export directly from Instagram and upload the file. The site does not connect to your social account.
