Evidence first
Findings describe records, not hidden platform knowledge
An insight can summarize counts, dates, distributions, repeated activity, or changes represented in the export. It can also flag coverage issues that affect interpretation.
It cannot know why a person acted, calculate reach Instagram did not export, identify a private viewer without a record, or recreate deleted history. Limitations are part of the report.
Choose enough data
Follower Report and Advanced Insights need different exports
Followers and Following are sufficient for the core relationship report. Advanced Insights needs broader account categories containing activity, profile, content, comments, ads, searches, and history records.
You can usually omit large media when the analysis needs JSON metadata rather than original photos and videos. A useful date range and relevant categories improve coverage.
Account-specific coverage
Not every card appears for every account
Personal, creator, and business accounts can receive different datasets. Some categories are empty because no matching activity occurred; others are absent because Instagram did not include them.
The interface promotes sections supported by the current export and keeps unavailable analysis out of the report. Missing data is not treated as zero or as proof of inactivity.
Questions
Common questions
Is Advanced Insights available from a followers-only export?
No. Followers and Following support the relationship report. Broader insights require relevant categories in a fuller Instagram JSON export.
Is my export sent to an external AI service?
No. The application analyzes supported records with its own importers and analyzers; export content is not sent to an external AI or search service.
Why is an insight section missing?
The dataset may be absent, empty, outside the date range, unsupported, or unavailable for that account type. Export coverage shows the reason.
